hey hey hey—- this festival is coming up on the 17-18-19th of september, and it is going to be awesome- it will be benefiting those affected by the BP Oil Spill. my Hubs has been asked to speak there and i am so proud of him and i willl have a refreshments and crafts booth with patches, plarn bracelets(1.25 from each plarn bracelet will be donated to the fund) other bracelets, cookies, muffins, kolaches, and tamales!! i will update the info on this soon i need to get back to bracelet making! have a good one!:) meg

first of all- how i found it— so i love crafting things and i have tons of thrift store dresses and such and lots of fabric. I was going through recycle and refashion ideas and came across this awesomo site about wardrobe re-fashioning so i checked it out and was very pleased with my discovery. It is owned and run by Nichola Prested out of Melbourne- and i think what she’s doing is fabulous- so i decided to take her pledge and become a Re-Fashionista! i will writing about the projects i work on and the fashion i produce by not buying anything thing new! for 2-4-6 months!!! Here is my pledge!

first off let me just say, that this is gonna be a busy holiday season…lol… im working on items for my etsy store. i have 3 cakes to make , one in august, one in october, and one in december. plus making christmas presents and decorations(those will wait until dec. so the kiddos can help) then in jan is brinks birthday. anyways ill write more later im a bit worn out! have a great day!:)-meg

things are looking up in my world. the kids are growing up so fast and are happy, we have a car now,getting caught up on bills(i hate that word-bills) we will have been married six years this year. my niece is here until sunday- the girls love her. I want to make a special treat for the kiddos tomorrow that is something bails can have too. still thinking about that one. here it is almost 10 30 pm and bailey is still crawling all over the house back and forth lol. shay and brink are having a pallet party in the girls room. anyways- gotta go time for movie with my hubs!:) meg
tomorrow it will have officially been one week since my girl brink went to visit her aunt charlotte and she will be home wednesday. i miss her terribly bad this is the longest we have been apart. i know shes having a blast, but shes still my little baby. i want to hold her and and do the wubzy wiggle. im so tired right now.lol i think im going to bed
